taco bell dream

TACO BELL DREAM
BY: RACHEL BARROWS

ONCE UPON A TIME, THERE WAS A PRINCESS AND PRINCE. THE PRINCE DIDN’T LIKE PRINCESSES HE LIKE BAD GIRLS. THE PRINCESS WASN’T A BAD GIRL SO SHE WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO FALL IN LOVE, BECAUSE HE WAS THE ONLY PRINCE LEFT UNMARRIED. SO ONE DAY THE PRINCESS DECIDED TO GO VAMPIRE HUNTING…ABOUT HALF WAY INTO THE WOODS SHE STARTED TO THINK WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD SHE GO VAMPIRE HUNTING, HER BEST FRIEND WAS A VAMPIRE. SO VAMPIRE HUNTING WAS OUT OF THE QUESTION.

AFTER THAT SHE WENT TO TACO BELL TO EAT HER FEELINGS AND SAW A HELP WANTED SIGN IN THE WINDOW SHE THOUGHT WORKIN AT TACO BELL WOULD GET HER FREE FOOD AND KEEP HER MIND OFF HOW LONLEY SHE WAS IN LIFE. BUT TO HER DIAPONTMENT THE JOB WAS ONLY GIVEN TO THE BAD GIRLS IN TOWN. SO SHE DROVE HER 1757 MINI VAN TO THE WALL-MART DOWN THE STREET TO BUY SOME WALLS. BECAUSE YOU KNOW WALL-MART MUST SELL WALLS…SO SHE WENT AND TO HER AMAZEMENT WALL-MART WAS A SUPERSTORE THAT SOLD EVERYTHING IMAGIMABLE. SHE WENT TO THE BACK OF THE STORE TO THE ELECTRONICS SECTION TO BUY THE NEW NENTENDO WII.

SHE WAS HAPPY WITH HER SELF AND DROVE BACK TO HER CASTLE AND HOOKED IT UP AND FORGOT TO BUY GAMES. THE ONLY GAME SHE HAD WAS THE WII SPORTS THAT CAME WITH THE SYSTEM. BUT SHE HAD ALLREADY BLOW UP HER CAR AND LOCKED ALL THE DOORS AND WINDOWS AND THEW THE KEYS INTO THE FLAME, BECAUSE SHE WAS NEVER GONNA EVER LEAVE HER CASTLE AGAIN.

SO AFTER 87 YEARS OF PLAYING WII SPORTS THE DIED OF VIDEO GAME SYNDROME. WELL WHO REALLY CARES….THE END

Rachel,

I really dig how playful and fun your story is. I like the elements of fairy tale and new stuff and old-new stuff (like the 1757 van). Very fun!

What I would like to see us do is, even though this is a kinda silly story, give readers something to think about. What is the message? I know you will say it's random and nothing and all that, but what are you trying to do with readers? Why should they read this.

Also, bring back the prince and show some development of interaction with the princess. I think bringing that back at the end would complete the story, and it even gives you opportunities to add more goofy stuff to the story.

But the ideas here are simply great, so let's build on them a bit!!!
